Coronavirus Update: 180 Countries Affected

The recent outbreak of the novel coronavirus which emerged from Wuhan, China in November 2019 has now spread to over 180 countries across the world.

The world health organization declared COVID-19 as a pandemic on March 11, 2020.

More than 600,000 people have now contracted the virus worldwide with approximately 27,000 deaths.

Six countries have had more than 1,000 cases of deaths: Us, China, Italy, Iran, Spain, and France.

The virus is not only affecting countless individuals and families’ but it is also going to have drastic consequences for all the developing & underdeveloped countries due to their limited resources and means of recovery.

China has gained control over COVID-19 with the help of draconian measures & now they are using the virus as a Soft Power Tool, by offering assistance to Italy and other affected countries.

In India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reported 1965 cases and 50 deaths in the country as of April 2, 2020, to flatten the spread of the virus, the country is in a statewide lockdown for 21 days.

The center has directed states to ensure that there is no movement of people across and within the cities.
