Dhurandhar arrives with fire, fury, and a fanbase screaming for more. Directed by Aditya Dhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna in the lead, Dhurandhar, is now in theatres and the audiences are going wild over its high-adrenaline action. It’s interesting to watch the male lead portraying balancing romance and action. The romantic moments between the hero and heroine are portrayed with a soft, almost dreamlike feel in an otherwise gritty and dark world.
Choreography and sound effects were well timed and added more intensity to every major scene. In my view, the only scene which had a problem was a car chase where there was a continuity error and a small visible CGI error. Dhurandhar’s A-rating is justified as given the four violent scenes pushes it into that category. The plot is solid, with every character having a meaningful connection and contribution to the hero’s journey.

Ranveer Singh portrays Hamza Ali Mazari, a lethal yet emotionally vulnerable spy. Akshaye Khanna shines as Rehmaan Dakait, a weapons supplier whose commanding presence often overshadows the protagonist.
Dhurandhar earned ₹27 crore net ( ₹32.40 crore gross) in India on its first day of release, making it Ranveer Singh’s first film to cross this mark after ‘Padmaavat’.
The action, love and high adrenaline scenes makes the film a total rage-bait, perfect for audience craving action and thrill. The sequel Dhurandhar: Revenge is set to be released on 19th March, 2026 and it promises an even higher-stakes fight.
